Cross-border Scaling Consultant

At iVC, we advise startups, scaleups, and global companies on cross-border strategy, finance, valuations, operations, tax, and, most importantly, transfer pricing. In 2025, we kick-started development to become a pioneering, AI-enabled, niche-defining consultancy.

As a consultant, you’ll work directly with founders, CFOs, and senior tax leaders across Europe and the US. This is a high-ownership role within a small team.

What You'll Work on

You will take ownership of defined workstreams within client projects, including:

• Designing, implementing, and documenting international transfer pricing structures;

• Analysing business models and how value is created across countries and entities;

• Synthesising complex financial, legal, and operational information into clear recommendations;

• Building financial models, preparing presentations, analysis, and relevant documentation;

• Working closely with clients' C-suite to create real change in their business models.

This role requires precision, judgment, and the ability to produce high-quality outputs under time pressure.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Currently completing a bachelor’s degree and graduating Spring 2026, with strong academic performance.

• Structured thinking + data: You can break down ambiguous problems, work confidently with data and quantitative logic, and form evidence-based conclusions.

• Results, not efforts: You have a delivery-first mindset and take ownership from start to finish. We look for precision, the ability to overcome problems, managing time independently, and fast professional growth based on feedback.

• Strong communication: You can explain complex ideas to senior stakeholders. You can guide your colleagues and clients through uncertainty with ease. Your writing should be crisp, your storylines coherent, and your recommendations defensible.

Applicants are expected to demonstrate structured thinking, logical reasoning, and strong output quality. These will be evaluated through their reasoning and use of AI during the assessment.

You must be able to work in the office and, when required, at client sites; operate independently in ambiguity; deliver accurate outputs under tight timelines; collaborate across time zones using digital tools; and consistently meet deadlines while adapting to project needs and feedback.
